At the age of 24 she has already secured her legacy in the music world but more importantly to us she is a fashion icon with unrivalled image. (She wore a dress made of meat for goodness sake!) Who am I talking about? Or do I even need to ask?
On her latest fashion venture, Lady Gaga has decided to collaborate with Giorgio Armani and let the equally talented designer take charge of costumes for her next tour. Her majesty Gaga is at the forefront of…well…everything. To say that she pushes boundaries doesn’t quite cut it; rather, she creates the boundaries, burns them and dances in the ashes. So, combining Armani’s innovation and insight into popular culture with Lady Gaga’s hold over both music and fashion, could be the greatest collaboration that the world has ever seen.
This news has created much of a buzz because Armani has never designed specifically for any celebrity. Furthermore, it is Lady Gaga’s duty to move forward creatively and people are wondering whether she has reached her limit. After all, there is only so far you can go after an outfit that’s now someone’s Sunday dinner …
