Changes in season always mark new obsessions in the fashion world and lately everyone’s talking about a certain Mrs Beckham. No, before you ask, it’s not the relaunch of her legendary singing career; it’s the rapidly growing success of her new line of clothing. As a style icon in her own right, Victoria Beckham recently turned her hand to designing and her new fall line has been a highly praised by critics, designers and celebs everywhere.
There was not one average look in the collection. Her pieces are elegant, yet sexy and although they are all unique, they were marked with her own signature style from head to toe. It wasn’t only the clothes that were admired; Victoria emerged as a true professional as she, rather unusually, presented her collection personally, describing, in detail, each piece as it glided down the runway.
The clothes, and the designer, truly belong in this world. In the past few weeks, especially, her designs have been seen on everyone who’s anyone. Cameron Diaz, Blake Lively, Heidi Klum, Gwyneth Paltow, Katherine Jenkins and….em…Carol Vorderman are among her fans. I’m sure we can expect plenty more jaw-dropping collections from Victoria in the future.
