Revamp

McQ is back under the control of Alexander McQueen and, according to CEO Jonathan Akeroyd, the line back with a bang; it is edgier and it’s cheaper too, which is always nice.

Designer Pina Ferlisa has, of course, incorporate certain Lee McQueen signatures such as; the architectural structuring and tailoring, subtle historical and aristocratic influences, the low slung trousers and dark gothic theme. However, it is just an accent of the designer label which is perfect. It is different from Alexander McQueen high-fashion but still part of the brand aesthetic which, after all, is what a diffusion line is supposed to be. The future looks bright for McQ.
