one of my favourite films of all time, if only because of the eccentric styling.
Party Monster is based on the novel “disco bloodbath” by james st james which portrays the rise and fall of Michael Alig (played by Macaulay Culkin) during his reign as king of the drug addled new york party scene.
I was inspired by the flamboyant, camp personalities, the colours which made you feel like you were part of that high and most of all, the bizarre bob-mackie-on acid-style costumes.
A life without party monster is an incomplete one.
