70's sassy

There is only one thing that can survive the seasons and bulldoze style.

Sex. and plenty of it. When fashion week touches down in Milan, it artlessly acquires a natural seductiveness with sensuality oozing from the pores. So, who better to reign in the sultry than Frida Giannini.

Today Gucci incorporated us into the routine of a 1970's vamp, following her from the bustle of day into explicit after dark activities. Our diva was a butterfly of colour but favouring deep glamorous hues over trend-led rainbow brights. She enchanted with deep teals, rich forest greens, burnt ambers and heavy regal purples.

Gucci's girl exuded power through the volume of billowing jumpsuits and flared trousers whilst playing temptress in a pussy-bow blouse and fitted leather revealing a hinted 1940s silhouette. The allure of a true leading lady was captured through the cinematic magnetism of the cascading gowns, provocatively exposing daring lengths of flesh whilst delicately enveloping and glorifying every part of her body.

For a/w 2011, a  character was established from a story told with conviction. Today we fell into the trap of a lusted after, power-hungry femme fatale with a soft romantic touch, willing to explore yet still holding mystery beneath a feather trimmed fedora.
