Lily in designer disguise

Creativity shall not be tied to one medium. It can neither be harnessed, nor restrained by domesticated fastenings but will ruckus for expression even in the most belligerent forms. Painters will write, writers will dance and dancers will sing, with vision taking flight through a climate of ambiances.

Today, of course, beckoned the news that, retired-singer-turned-retail-dexter, Lily Allen will further her foray into the deep abyssal seas of fashion, by means of actual design accolades. Lily will extend and master her sword of aptitude in a debut, 18 piece, persuasively vintage, clothing collection under the enigma of her Covent Garden boutique, "Lucy in Disguise".

Invigorated with classic, time-honoured elixir, the designs span the decades, gathering sophisticated magnetism from 1920s flapper cuts to 1940s crepe-silk tea dresses and every stylish accent inbetween. Overseen by credited designer, Nadia Jones, Lily and her sister Sarah Owen will wade slowly into these new waters, garnering wisdom, judgement and experience as they move towards an inevitable submergence.

So, as the arbitors claw out of their caves to beg an imminent question of whether "she should just stick to the day job", I shall personally renounce the query with a securely rooted "NO" She has the means and profound faculty guarded by a legion of devotees, so why not?...and the dresses look kinda nice too...
