Star Wars episode three- return of the Pugh

Bless me Father, for I have sinned. It has been, well forever since my last fashion confession.
Ok, here it goes; i'm getting unorthodoxly excited about Gareth Pugh's a/w 2011 collection

Holding back the white priest collars, for his newest collection, Pugh emptied his grasp of catholic iconography, saturating his findings with a science fiction curve. The models held a warrior stance under hooded coats and crafted leather breast plates which flexed like armour. The designer intensified his combatant hold over structural tailoring, using contorted panels which dangled in a draping effect; unravelling inclinations of a softer more comforting contour.

There were more affectionate surprises admitting a growing feminine complexion. Counteracting sharp dissected leather tiles were billowing cloaks, chiffon trains and splaying palazzo pants which befriended shimmering gold mirrored pieces and, wait for it...COLOUR. actual splashes of colour. it might just be a few lengths of  pool blue but still; gareth pugh did colour.

My Mugler cloud has silver..well mostly black, lining.
