blogger of the week

Dostoevsky remarked that "We sometimes encounter people, even perfect strangers, who begin to interest us at first sight, somehow suddenly, all at once, before a word has been spoken.

Few people are capable but Joey Ma ignited this notion within me.

Contrary to his own humble opinion, Joey Ma is NOT "just a guy who has a blog"; his charming, modest angles can not conceal the depth of his influence. The Hong Kong native, actualised his blog, "individuality", over a year ago in a wishful bid to preserve blissful memories, capture the essence of his youth and, in many ways, to teach a lesson of acceptance in a world of conservative ideology. Although shy in spirit, Joey Ma's unique outfit posts, express a sense of exaggerated identity, comfortably discarding the boundaries of trend led fashion and even gender.

His flamboyant, self- composed character is carved from a range of creative sources. Exploring inspiration in a spectrum which widens from street style, to Picasso, Joey Ma is not only a style icon but also a creative representation of how depth can be discovered in a medium which seems shallow on the surface.

With his charisma, enviable designer wardrobe and positive vision, you haven't heard the last of Mr Ma.

"In 10 years, I hope I will be having a few homes in different cities in the world. And I hope my blog will still be there and more people will enjoy my style. I find the world is full of uptight and conservative people, I just people can be more open  minded and just accept people of being who they are."
