Here is the first glimpse of Nicola Formichetti’s debut collection for Thierry Mugler. I knew he would bring a raw modern artistic vision to the brand but from this shot i can say that he has actually surpassed my expectations. The menswear collection, which will be released to our attention on January 19th, is titled “the anatomy of change”. From this, it feels like Formichetti plans to go back to the Thierry Mugler roots and reconstruct the label to fit his avant-garde style. Only four more days, i’m so excited.
