Aberta Ferretti took a swing for the sixties, Gucci sauntered into the seventies, so where are D&G teleporting for a/w2011?

The eighties exploded onto the D&G collection, leaving a mess of alphabet prints trailing from the catwalk and creeping onto the designs. The sugar coated neon splashes of colour threw in some madonna fused fun culminating in a dizzying party of girls wearing candy-floss tutus. Headaching optimism burst through perspex necklaces and camp printed T-shirts; "Milan is very cold but we will heat it up! said the duo, charging enough playfulness to kill a fat pessimist.
Amidst the fashionably exhausting, however, prevailed some quieter moments of metropolitan glamour occupied by woollen pencil skirts, chiffon italian style party dresses, silk shirts and elegant jacquard knits; mostly all emblazoned with the letter attack but not entirely disgarding the D&G aesthetic.
Nevertheless, i have a sinister feeling that Domenico and Stefano are being held hostage by Jeremy Scott and Henry Holland who are torturing the duo by shredding the florals and smashing those overpriced watches. But, regardless of who is behind this elaborate plan, i award praise to the answerable for finally injecting flamboyance into the kinky little sister line.
