me vs versus

Versus is an island whose land i fear to tread on. I find Christopher Kane fascinating in terms of innovative conception whilst respecting the legendary accomplishment of the Italian fashion kingdom's diffusion line. Nevertheless, as an amalgamation of two such distinct styles, i am perplexed by the marriage and have remained unconvinced.

Until now.

The offering was an ensemble of impeccable tailoring, subsequently turning to a miniature glitter-fest which conquered my apprehension. Body-con Versace classics took an artful, creative turn with exposed boning and glistening geometric patterns to match a jewel encrusted block heel. Brutally slick lines met oversized jackets and governing leathers to establish a sense of 1990s acute masculine power dressing.

This collection did not need graceful femininity to justify an androgynous stance; it was veritable design ingenuity with decisive conviction.

Thankyou Don and Chris, i am yours; converted....but only if you send me a pair of those shoes
