Feelin' Groovy...for now

If it's seventies, it's got to be Chloe.
Redirecting the decade's clichés, Hannah MacGibbon infuses a vintage dream with veritable snake-bite.

Upon a liberated silhouette of wide legged trousers, calf brushing skirts and fluttering fringe, a serpentine-skin slithered. Drifting chiffon dresses and lambent overcoats also carried the venomous interpretation aboard leather panels from soft stable hues of brown and beige, gently incorporating the modern Chloe attributes.

However, notions of the past were reawakened with acidic patchwork ponchos and unforgivably stereotypical retro dungarees and acutely flared denims. Colour convolutions were favourably focal with vibrant yellow and mint finding their feet on Farrah Fawcett-esque blouses, brushing past monochrome shirt-dresses whose exaggerated bows coasted with the layers.

Whilst MacGibbon's head rested on the guillotine, dependant on an awaited ovation for her collection, it seems that she has been awarded some deserved respite, from the public at least. Whilst fashion's game of musical chairs anxiously continues. Hannah's head can hang safely, for now,
