In the video for new single Blue Jeans, Lana Del Rey plays a tragic dame, with the enigmatic lustre of an old Hollywood screen siren.  In a sleek white one-piece, Lana stands with her glossy red retro waves flowing over one shoulder. Her bee-stung pout is painted and her eyes move into a custom 1960's flick. Her signature pick-and-mix vintage aesthetic is caught in black and white cinematography and appears blurred to mimic a dream-like reflection in rippling pool water. 


Del Rey then proceeds to hump a crocodile, before being drowned by her dirty looking tattooed lover...
I never said it made sense.
