Kate Moss’ final collection for Topshop is almost here and after four years of such an amazing contribution, she has ended on a high.
The promotional shots, modelled by who-else but Moss, show a very retro/vintage style. It feels like I’m raiding the dressing up box of a former seventies performer. The pieces are very detailed with fringing, embroidery and embellishment. There’s also a great variation of fabric, shape and colour in each design; the use of chiffon creates a romantic mood while the prints and florals maintain a bohemian feel. The line also includes 14 of the most popular pieces from Kate’s previous collections including the beautiful backless “Perfume Dress” which i will be rugby tackling other women to get to. The entire collection is set to be a a huge hit amongst Tophoppers everwhere.
The line bares the essence of Kate Moss; it is shaggily elegant with taste a rock and roll. All of the looks are very unique but are clearly pieces of the same puzzle; which is something i admire in a collection.
Here are some of my favourite items
this embellished cape dress creates so much drama but the length makes it the perfect party number.
A huge woolly hooded cardigan. like this, is perfect for the winter months and the exaggerated shag detail will make it the attention-grabbing piece in any outfit
This lace up indian mini perfectly portrays the boho feel of the entire collection. With the opaque tights it can do casual but with a such a plunging neckline, the sex appeal is turned up to the max.
the collection goes on sale at Topshop Nov 2nd!
