Hot on the Heels

I always go on and on about how cheap i am and how i absolutely hate parting with my terribly well earned money unless absolutely necessary. Although, i complain a lot, i have to admit that i am perfectly content with living a life of day-dreaming about clothes rather than purchasing them but when i see an attractive bargain or something that will save the pennies in the long-run, i do not hesitate to grab hold of it with both hands.
The “heel condom” is something that certainly caught my eye, and not just for the inventive name.

This clever little gadget slides over the heel of any shoe to reinvent a worn-out look. I think it’s amazing, especially for someone like me. I only have a couple of pairs of shoes but they are very dear to me because of the comfort and the fact that they go with absolutely every item of clothing i own or intend to buy. However, sometimes i do think it would be nice to indulge because buying a new pair of shoes is the most satisfying feeling for any woman; it can lift a bad mood and transform your day but, for me, the guilt of the spending spree barely balances with the positive. So, in the “heel condom” i have found everything i need; i have the comfort of my old shoes made fun and different with this attatchment, it only costs around £15 and can be joined to the heel of any shoe. What more could i want?

The price is reasonable and there are some really good designs, but for some reason i don’t think this is a phenomenon that will sweep shoe lovers on a global scale. It’s probably just one of those novelties that only wierdos like me will champion and, I think it’s genius, but the comedy brand-name might drive people away even further…
