It seems that Anna Wintour’s new BFF (Blake Lively) will be the flawless face of a new Chanel handbag range.
You gotta give it to her though, the girl’s been working hard to get that gig. She drags a chanel 2.55 with her everywhere and has been photographed in Chanel at every given opportunity. She even made darn sure that she was seen and snapped (for evidence) wining and dining with Karl Lagerfeld and Anna Wintour, sandwiched between the two at the last Chanel show in Paris in order to get best acquainted with the fashion royalty and, hey; it worked.
She looks stunning in Chanel, there’s no doubt about that, and her popularity and fan base will bring a whole new generation of customers to the french fashion kingdom.
The highlight of her entire life has to be at the Toronto film festival a few months back when she wore a scarlet sequined Chanel dress with co-ordinating accessories and shoes. Even with the detail which highly accentuated her hips, she looked perfect; as if the dress had been painted on her.
This could be just rumours, suitable to be posted on Gossip Girl, but if it is true, the campaign is set to be released early next year. We’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for Blake on the billboards.
