Emma Bell. remember that name if you haven’t already heard it. Emma is a talented British designer who is innovative, fun, fresh and very current. Her work recieves a lot of praise and attention already but after looking at her new collection, i think this year is going to be really big for her.
lEmma has a lot under her belt aready. She’s done LFW three times, her designs have appeared on Skins and Frock me, as well as being featured in a whole host of magazines such as cosmo and elle girl. I first heard of her through her collaboration with irregular choice footwear, she just has a certain touch.

As you can see the designs are fun and colourful but the crimped hair and bright lipstick along with the cut adds a bit of an edge. There’s something very interesting about how she’s able to mix cute and grunge. its like a dirtier Katy Perry. I would love to get my hands on that little blue playsuit because it’s my birthday soon and i absolutely NEED an outfit. i hate trends and, although this is very current, it doesnt match the other ss 2011 collections that ive seen. i could team it with black opaque tights and DMs or dress it up slightly with some bright chunky heels. eugh if only i could afford it
